2019 RW Wilson Finalists: Brian Adams, Darren Shepherd, David Bryant, David Jorgensen
The winners of the 2019 R.W Wilson 4 Ball Best Ball Match Play were crowned on Saturday 1 June.
The combination of Darren Shepherd & Brian Adams triumphed over David Bryant & David Jorgensen with a 3 & 2 win.
Brian & Darren didn’t have it all their own way with David & David jumping out to a 3 hole lead after 3 holes. B&D fought back to win the 4th, but David J birdied the 5th to restore the lead to 3 up.
B&D finally hit their straps to win the 6th, 7th & 9th holes to have the match all square at the turn.
From there, they won the 10th, 11th & 13th holes to take a 3 hole lead. David B birdie the 15th to claw one back, but the match and title was won the 16th.
Congratulations to both pairs for making the final, and well done Brian & Darren.
