PGA Scramble Event at VGC on Friday 31st May, 2024.
Friday 31st May 2024 sees the return of the PGA Scramble ( Formerly the Holden Scramble), to VGC.
These competitions are held Australia wide as a Four Ball Elimination Ambrose Event, with the Winning Team at VGC progressing through to the Queensland Regional Final at the Sunshine Coast. There are also some great Callaway prizes to be awarded.
This Event at VGC will be a Shot-Gun Start at 6.45 am, with Club Hire Carts available through bookings direct at the Golf Shop.
The PGA Entry Fee is $ 200 per team( $50 each player), however each player will be issued with a Sleeve of Callaway Chromesoft premium Golf Balls.
Teams for the Event are Men’s or Mixed Teams with a total GA Handicap Range of 32 minimum to 132 maximum and all VGC Member Categories are invited to play. The only other restriction is that there can only 2 Players in a Team with a GA Handicap of 9.9 or less.
PGA requirements are that entries are made direct to the Scramble Website with one person making the entries on behalf of the 4 Person Team, together with the $ 200 payment. This means that entries cannot be made through the Club’s usual timesheet process.

It has been a number of years since VGC has elected to conduct one of these competitions, and the Club’s Match Committee fully supported having this Event at VGC this year to provide a great Member experience, and giving the Winning Team the opportunity to progress to the Regional Final.
