Change to Family Day Competition Saturday 13th April, 2024
VGC has a long tradition of conducting an Annual Family Day competition.
Whilst it is not an Honour Board event, it is established as a Major Competition at VGC, and a Trophy is awarded each year
to the Winners at the VGC Champions Dinner and Presentation Night.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday 13th April,2024 in conjunction with the Member’s Saturday competition,
as a Two person Stableford Aggregate, with both Male and Female Members eligible to enter this Category.
Eligibility Change
In addition to the current Parent and Child, Grandparent and Grandchild, Husband and Wife/ Partners, Brothers or Sisters,
this year eligibility has been extended to include Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, In- Laws by marriage or Partnerships,
as well as Cousins.
Those Members who are playing in the Saturday competition on 13th April, and who are eligible to compete in the Family Day
Category as outlined, MUST advise Golf Shop Staff of your eligibility when paying your Competition Fees on the day. This will
allow your registration in this Category for the day’s competition.
Please note that Teams MUST play in the same Line/ Timeslot.
The VGC Match Committee trusts that this extension to eligibility, will allow an increase in Players being able to compete
in this event this year.
