Dear Members, following further overnight rain and currently raining the Main course will now be closed at least until Thursday this week (inclusive). As we are able, we will continue with green renovations this week with view to having at least 9 holes available for members on Friday, obviously subject to further weather (and hopefully have the main course open next week when the renovations were previously planned). The Heritage Course and Driving range will be closed until further notice. The ‘Wedge range’ will also be closed until Friday. We will be renovating the practice putting green tomorrow. Please call the pro shop from thursday afternoon for playing arrangements on Friday.
Until Friday the Pro Shop will operate from 5.00 am to 5.00 pm, and Club house from 9 to 5.00 pm for food & beverage service.
At this stage, there appears to be little risk of a flooding event occurring but there is a lot of inundation on course with more rain in the catchment area potentially increasing this risk. High tide is at 12 midday today so hopefully water will begin to recede as the tide drops.
