The 2023 Captain’s Trophy Match Play qualifying round was played today in conjunction with the Monthly Medal Single Stroke.
Cool conditions greeted the morning players but it wasn’t long before the cool turned into a fine day for all players. It was the top 16 scores that would qualify for the match play phase of this event.
The first round will be played as a seeded draw next Saturday 8 July with all players being added into the time sheet prior to next weeks sheet being released. To view the draw click here.
Today’s Monthly Medal results in each grade went to A grade: Wayne Gale with 68 nett , B grade: Matt Mitchell with 65 nett and the C: grade winner was Lance Dewberry with 65 nett, The Women’s winner was the ever consistent Sanna Mila with a score of 67 ocb.
