Dear Members, just a couple of things to update.
Pro Am Volunteers.
As members are aware, the Breakas Beach Resort VGC Pro Am will be held this year on Friday 7th July. We hope to make this another great day at VGC. We are on the lookout for volunteers to perform ‘spotter’ duties on the par 3’s over the course of the day, with a drink on the club after your stint. If any members wish to be involved (its fun) please contact Tony or Brett at the Club asap (3267 6333) and advise your availability from 6.45 am through to around 5.00 pm, any time you can provide will be greatly appreciated. There are great prizes on each of the par 3’s and for insurance purposes we are required to have spotters on both tees & greens so it is of great value to the club if you can help us out. Thank you to those members who have already indicated their interest in helping out.
Car-Park Re-Lining
Members, just a heads up that there will be work undertaken over the course of the next couple of weeks on the carpark. On Monday 26th, and Wednesday 28th June, 50% of the carpark will be cordoned off each day for carpark sweeping and pothole repair, and then again on Monday 3rd July and Wednesday 5th July for the carpark to be relined. Please do not park in cordoned off areas on these days. Works will commence from 6.30 am on all days.
Our plan is obviously to do half the carpark at a time so members still have access to parking on these quieter days without undue inconvenience. If you could work with us whilst we complete this project it would be greatly appreciated. This plan is only subject to change arising from inclement weather. Tony.
