Dear Members, it is sadness that we announce that after 6 years service to the Club & Members, Megan Masters has resigned her position of Hospitality & Events manager at VGC. Megan is taking up a management role in the Health & Fitness Industry about which she is passionate and she is very excited to pursue this opportunity.

Since Megan commenced at the club in 2017, she has overseen significant change at VGC particularly in relation to the growth and success of the Clubs Food & Beverage and Function activity and in the overall operation of the Club. As a key member of a small team, Megan has contributed to every aspect of the Club, we will miss her organisational skill, creativity and her energy to ‘get the job done’ whatever was needed. Megan’s commitment to VGC was always most strongly demonstrated when ‘the whips were cracking’, think Pro Am and major events and we will certainly miss her leadership in this regard and her overall contribution to VGC.

Megan’s last day will be Monday 5th June. We are working through transition arrangements at the moment & will be recruiting a replacement person in due course. I am sure members will join with us in wishing Megan every success in her next career endeavour and to acknowledge and thank Megan for her contribution to VGC.

Tony.
