Dear Members,
On Friday 21st April, VGC will host a benefit day in support of VGC member Harry Takis, a very talented young golfer and a fine young man.
The benefit day will provide funds for Harry to take the next steps in what has already been a stellar junior career, including competing in the US Amateur Championship to be held in Charlestown S.C. in a few months time.

Since this article was published, Harry has also again been selected in the Queensland Junior Team to compete in the National Championship in Tasmania in a couple of weeks (which we hope might result in him being selected as Captain for the Queensland Team). Harry medium term plans also include taking up a scholarship at the University of San Diego State in 2024 to chase his golfing dreams.
