Dear Members, we have today been advised by MiScore that there is a change to the MiScore app scheduled to be effective from 27th April. This change requires the ‘marker’ to submit the players score (rather than the player to submit their own score as currently occurs). The app format will be automatically adjusted from 27th April to enable this change in functionality.

This change has been requested by Golf Australia to revert back to the long standing (pre covid requirement) traditional way of scoring for a player’s marker to mark the players card, to confirm the score at the end of the round and both sign the card.

Members can view the details of the details of the process for signing and submitting scores by clicking HERE.

We are aware that some other Clubs already use this method of scoring on the app although the current approach was as recommended during the pandemic, this advice is simply that we are, as with most clubs, reverting to the traditional manner of scoring from 27th April.

We encourage all members to take advantage of the MiScore app for competition rounds, its quick & easy (once you become accustomed to it!!) and immediately uploads scores when submitted. Over the next couple of months we plan to hold some ‘help’ sessions to assist members who do not currently use the app.

Tony
