The 2021 R W Wilson Memorial Match Play event is well and truly under way with the qualifying round being completed today and with the superb conditions the good scores followed.
The top qualifiers after today’s round were Lance Dewberry and Tony Wiseman with a hot round of 59nett, one shot clear of Bill Lally & Louis Chan and Brenton & Ray Knudsen both with scores of 60 nett. There were 32 teams lucky enough to qualify and the magic number was 69 nett needed. The first round will be Saturday May 1st and all players involved in the match play rounds will be added to the time sheet being released this Tuesday 27 April.
