Dear Members, it is with disappointment that we advise that Jill Piper has tendered her resignation from VGC, with effect from Friday next, 18th September. We will all miss Jill for her hard work and friendly disposition to the staff team and in assisting VGC members. Jill will still be available to support the Club as might be necessary working on a casual basis and might well be able to play more golf than has been possible over the past 3 years. Thank you Jill for all your work and support.
We also announce that the Club has appointed Adrienne McTavish has been appointed to replace Jill’s position as Office Administrator/Book Keeper. Adrienne has a strong background in accounts management and office administration, most recently being the Office Manager of a large corporate real estate business. Adrienne will officially start in the role from Monday 21st September but will be working with Jill over the next week to effect a smooth handover of responsibilities.
