The Quarter Finals of the 2018 R.W. Wilson Memorial Match Play were played on Saturday May 19.

In the top half of the draw the two favourite pairs, s and past winners, both won easily. Rocco Cartella & Paul Nutter won 3 & 2. Curt Mathews & Mark Shaw won 5 & 4 against a gallant Paul Skinner, who played solo due to his partner’s unavailability, 5 & 4.
In the bottom half of the draw both matches went to extra holes. Ben Pace & Chris Heron were taken to the 22nd hole by Karl Vorhauser & Ralph Edwards. Shane Twomey & Brendan Behm for the second week in a row won on the 9th over Benny Garland and Ian Campbell.
Next week sees the past winners play each other, Cartella & Nutter against Shaw & Mathews, whilst Twomey & Behm face Pace & Heron. Tee times from 10.53am on the Ist.
