VGC Members in all Member Categories are invited to attend the VGC Opening Day Event on Sunday 11th January, 2026 which will played as a 4 Ball Best Ball Competition with a Shotgun start commencing at 12.30 pm.
Registration, Pre- Game Refreshments and a Sausage Sizzle will commence at 11.15 am and will be a Golf Event only, The Theme for the Day will be Hawaiian and prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed on the Day.
In the Golf Competition, Prizes will be awarded for Overall Winning Team, as well as Winners and Runners Up in the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Team Categories. Nearest to Pin Prizes will also be allocated for both Men’s and Women’s Divisions.
It is expected that this Members’ ONLY Event will again attract a Capacity Field of 144 , so interested Members should nominate quickly, after Nominations open at 4.00 pm on Tuesday 30th December, 2025.
The Club’s Match Committee looks forward to Members supporting this event to Open the Club’s 2026 Golfing Year.
