The 2025 Captain’s Trophy individual match play event has come to a close with Justin Cooke winning todays match in fine fashion 4&2 against Richard Pepper. Justin qualified 8 for the match play rounds back on Saturday June 28 and although not winning by big margins he was able to take all matches bar the final to the play off hole and making each a victory. This is Justin’s second win in this event, with the last coming in 2009 a 16 year gap between victories great win Justin. A huge mention should also go to Richard Pepper in only his second year of golf just to make the final in this event is fantastic a great effort.
