Dear Members, it is with great sadness we advise of the passing of long standing VGC member Mrs. Joan Hickey.
Joan’s family have advised us that Joan passed away on peacefully on Saturday. Joan was a member of VGC for 39 years was a most active member and supporter of the Club over this time.
Joan will be sadly missed by her friends at VGC. We extend our sincere condolences to Joan’s family and friends.
Joan’s funeral is scheduled for Monday 23rd. June at 11.00 am at the St Joseph and St Anthony Catholic Church, 30 Eldorado Street. Bracken Ridge to be followed by burial at Nudgee Cemetery at 12.30 pm.
No flowers please … in lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation.
