Dear Members, an update on tomorrows play and course conditions.
Due to the uncertainity in relation to further rain and the current condition of the Golf Course, the 2nd Round of the R.W.Wilson event and the Flo Buck Cup for Women event, will not proceed tomorrow and will instead be rescheduled to next Saturday 24th May. We are concerned that even without further rain, the course conditions will not be suitable for these important VGC events to be held tomorrow. For information, we are using optional ‘tee up’ on the Main Course today due to the condition of the course. It is unlikely the course will dry out much if at all overnight.
At this stage, tomorrow’s Single Stableford competition on the Championship course will proceed, a decision on golf cart use on the Championship course will be made at 5.00 am tomorrow, a text will be sent to booked members in relation to cart usage at that time as well as the timesheet header being updated.
The Heritage 9 competiton tomorrow has been cancelled, a decision on social play on the Heritage 9 Course will be also be made in the morning following a further inspection, golf carts will NOT be able to be used on the Heritage 9 tomorrow. Heritage 9 members are welcome to join the single stableford competition on the Main Course tomorrow subject to booking availability.
The Driving range will be closed tomorrow.
