The 2023 Virginia Men’s Club Championships is complete with Steve Sinclair going back to back to claim his 10th title in this event,  Steve’s first win was back in 2004 a mighty effort to say the least well done once again Steve.  Going into the final round today Steve was one shot back from Harry Takis but in the end experience got the win for Steve.     

                                                                                                                                                     

A Grade:  After four solid rounds Steve shot 74-70-71-72 total  287  finishing just one shot clear of Harry Takis 74-67-73-74 total 288.   The full Gross result can be seen here.  Doug Chalmers takes out the nett with scores of 69-69-74-69 total 281  Nett results can be seen here.

B Grade:  Todd Rowe stays on top after four rounds with scores of 83-82-92-83 total 340, four shots clear from Dion Soich 85-85-87-87 total 344.   The full Gross result can be seen here.   Nathan Mullins takes out the the Nett with scores of  69-78-74-69 total 290 ocb from Kevin Enders 71-65-80-74 total 290.   Nett results can be seen here.

C Grade:  Jake Chynoweth has led from pillar to post to take the title after rounds of 93-86-86-93 total 358  a solid winner from Warren Beckton 94-91-94-86 total 365.  The full Gross result can be seen here.  Ryan Bellamy takes out the nett with scores of 70-67-71-73 total  281 total.  Nett result can be seen here.

Seniors:  Curt Mathews has stormed to the top of the leader board to snatch victory in the Seniors Gross with rounds of 79-79-77-80 total 315, Bob Watson 78-80-76-83 total 317 and Greg Tagg 74-77-81-85 total 317 both just two shot back.        The full result can be seen here

Juniors:  Harry Takis  has taken out the  Junior Championships with solid rounds of  74-67-73-74 total 288, another super effort in the juniors and A Grade.   Eathan Anderson finished second with scores of 73-73-74-80 total 300.  The full  Gross result can be seen here.

Curlew Cup:   Ross Wotherspoon started this event strong and after the first round lead by two shots and never looked back, a great effort to lead throughout to take out the Curlew Cup with nett scores of  30-34-36-30 total 130.   Chris Ward was a Valant second on a nett score of 136 while Viv Hohn and Graham Shonhan both finished on 140 nett.   The full result can be seen here.

Women’s Weekend Championships:  Kea Schwarz may need her own Honour Board soon after yet another victory in the Women’s Weekend Championships after scores of  85-93 total 178,  with this win Kea has clinched her 21st title in this event “WOW” what an effort.   Rose Pullinger finished just four shots back with scores of 95-87 total 182 a solid effort and Karen Barton also 89-94 183 just five shot off the winner.
