The Men’s club Championships third round was played today in-conjunction with the Tony Barton Memorial nett event.
Today also saw the first round of the Women’s Club Championships this event is a 36 holes stroke event set to be completed next Saturday 23rd September. Kea Schwarz has a good lead after the first round with a gross 85, four shots clear of Karen Barton on 89 and five clear of Narelle Ward on 90. The full Gross results can be seen Here.

A Grade Gross : Harry Takis looks to take his first VGC Club Championship after rounds of 74-67-73 total 214 just one shot clear of “nine time” winner of this event Steve Sinclair after rounds 74-70-71 total 215. Seniors : The ever consistent Greg Tagg is once again leading the Seniors with rounds of 74-77-81 total 232 but just two shot clear of the well seasoned traveller Bob Watson 78-80-76 total 234. Curlew Cup : The heat is on at the top leader board for the Curlew Cup and as for the first two rounds Ross Wotherspoon leads things with a nett score of 100 after 27 holes.
