Dear Members,

As all will realise, the Golf Courses are very very wet, with significant surface water on both courses. This situation has been exacerbated by considerable flooding on both the Heritage and Main Course from Downfall Creek over night. By means of example, the Creek flooded across the 2nd & 1st fairway last night to the 13th dam leaving significant debris on the 1st fairway. The 3rd and 10th Holes are cutoff due to flooding and much of the Heritage course is also flooded. We have had significant impact on the new works on the bottom of the 5th hole but believe we will be able to rectify this situation when the weather improves, hopefully tomorrow.

The Heritage Course is closed until further notice along with the Driving Range.  It is highly improbable that the the Main Course will be playable tomorrow (Thursday).

However, as we know, the Main Course now drains well and recovers quickly from such events.  if we can get a couple of warm days without rain (and hopefully some wind) we have at least some faint optimism that golf maybe available from Friday and over the weekend.

We will keep members posted on developments over the next couple of days as well as any possibility that Golf carts might be available over the weekend (highly unlikely for Friday). Tony.
