Dear Members, just a quick update on the course Condition today.
With the rain event clearing yesterday afternoon, the course condition has obviously improved but remains quite wet underfoot, with surface water still evident on a number of fairways.Our Course staff and volunteers will be working tomorrow to clear flood debris from the course and to attend to necessary repairs.
From tomorrow, and obviously subject to any further rain, the main course will be open for play, Friday 9’ers and Sip n Chip following, but walking golf only tomorrow and no carts.
The Heritage 9 and Driving Range remain closed today until further notice, and whilst there is significant surface water on our Short Game practice facility, the adjacent chipping green and bunkers are quite usable.
We will update members again tomorrow afternoon on the course situation in respect of Saturday & Sunday comps and on the use of carts, particularly for the Saturday Competition. Tony.
