The second round of the men’s club Championships kicked off today and with 263 starters on the course it sure was a busy day.  The Tony Barton Memorial was also played in conjunction with the single stroke event for the day.  Tony Barton Memorial winner for 2021 was Peter Conlon with a cracking score of 64 nett well done peter.   

A Grade : Well the title is wide open in A grade with the top six players all within 6 shots of each other its surley setup for a thrilling 3rd and 4th rounds. Jordan Daley after rounds of 68-75 143 leads by one shot from Greg Tagg on 144. See results click here.

B Grade : This is much the same a A grade we have 10 players all within 6 shots of each other,  Ian Gilmour leads out with rounds of 82-82 164 three shots clear of Joshua McClelland on 167.  See results click here.

C Grade : Close is an understatement with thirteen players all within 7 shots of the leader Stephen Heath with rounds of 90-90 180 just one shot clear of Neil Rowlatt and Matthew Stamenkovic on 181 this is wide open.  See results click here.

Juniors :  In the Juniors its all tied up with Dougal Golden leading the way after shooting 77-75 152,  one shot clear of Jedd Brady with 74-79 153                        See results click here.

Seniors :  Greg Tagg has a massive lead in the seniors Gross and with rounds of 72-72 144 will prove very hard to run down, the next two back are Karl Vorhauser and Glenn Bevis both on 160.  See results click here.

Curlew Cup: After two rounds of the curlew cup Tim Bellette has a narrow lead after scores of 42-44  and nett score of 63 leads by 2 shots from Russell Stephen on 65 nett.  Curlew Cup results click here.

A reminder that for the final two rounds of the Club Championships there will be a seeded draw for the top 8 players in each grade and this will be entered into the time sheet for the release of next Saturday’s field.
