Dear Members, a couple of things to update on today.
Queensland Golf Industry Awards 2021. Yesterday, we received advice that our Club has been selected as a finalist in 3 categories in the Queensland Golf Industry Awards for 2021. The Queensland Golf Industry Awards is a event co-ordinated between Golf Australia, The PGA and Golf Management Australia.
VGC has been selected as a finalist in the Best Overall Club category, Best Junior Program & our Pro Am as a finalist in the Best Metropolitan Tournament category. Award winners will be announced on 28th October. Thank you to our member/s who took the time and interest to nominate the Club for these awards, a nice surprise that we have been listed as finalists in these categories. More to follow.
Member Bag Tags. Membership bag tags for 21/22 membership year have finally arrived and are available for pick up from the Golf Shop. Please just provide name and membership number to the golf shop upon pick up. It would be appreciated if tags could be attached to your golf bag to enable VGC members to be readily identifiable when using practice facilities and on course.
