The results are in, its been a long four weeks but the winners have been declared and a big congratulations should go to all players that participated over the four weeks of stroke play during the 2021 club Championships. Also well done to all the winners in each grade after today’s round.
A Grade : Jordan Daley has led all the way to win his second consecutive Club Championship, with rounds of 68-75-73-75 total 291 has defeated Zach Ion by two shots after Zach had rounds of 71-74-75-73 total 293. Well Done Jordan, the full results can be seen here.
B Grade : Peter Conlon has finished strongly over the last three rounds to finish 92-77-81-85 total 335 only one shot clear of Joshua McClelland 80-87-83-86 total 336. Shane Twomey 337 and Patrick Mead 338 also had solid rounds to finish just off the pace. Nice work Peter, the full results can be seen here.
C Grade : Dean MacPherson has lasted like a good thing at Caulfield to edge out Greg Mackie and Neil Rowlatt, Dean had rounds of 93-92-90-89 total 364 to win by 3 shots. Well done Dean, the full results can be seen here.
Juniors : Dougal Golden has taken out the Junior Club Championship after rounds of 77-75-80-79 total 311 two shots clear from Jedd Brady after shooting 74-79-82-78 total 313. The top four Juniors were all within five shots of each other after 72 holes, well done to all, the full result can be seen here.
Seniors : Greg Tagg has blitzed the field in the seniors results and with rounds of 72-72-80-86 total 310 this result was never in doubt. The second position was much closer with David Trappett in front OCB from Glenn Bevis both finishing with a score of 320. Full results can be seen here.
Graded Nett Result : A Grade has been won by David Trappett with scores of 71-75-67-67 total 280, three shots clear of Eathan Anderson on 283. B Grade Brendan Behm had a great final round to win after rounds of 74-68-77-66 total 285 just clear of Patrick Mead on 286. C Grade Trevor Lancaster has defeated Neil Rowlatt OCB after rounds of 76-71-74-70 total 291. Full results can be seen here.
Curlew Cup : The 2021 Curlew Cup was a tightly contested event all the way to the final round with Tim Bellette winning by three shots after rounds of 42-44-45-45 total 176 and Nett score of 130 from Russell Stephen with rounds of 40-40-42-41 total 163 and Nett score of 133. Women’s Weekend Championships : Karen Barton has taken out the Women’s Weekend Championship after two good rounds of 83-93 total 176 just three shots clear of Noelene Stoney 89-90 total 179. Full result can be seen here.
