Today saw the first round of the 2021 Men’s Club Championships get under way and looking at the leader boards we sure do have a tightly contested event after round 1. The Curlew Cup also started today with the first round of four 9 hole rounds being completed.
A Grade : Jordan Daley after a cracking first round of 68 is three shots clear of Zach Ion on 71, with Craig Bridgland and Gregg Tagg just four off the pace on 72. To view the results click here.
B Grade : Joshua McClelland after a solid first round of 80 leads from a swag of players just two shots back on 82 and they include laurie Ponticello, Paul McCarthy and Ian Gilmour. To view the results click here.
C Grade : Matthew Stamenkovic also with a solid first round score of 86 leads C Grade by two shots from Terry Simpson and Harry Black on 88. To view the results click here.
Juniors : Jedd Brady leads the way with a great first round score of 74, one shot clear of Max Nielsen on 75. To view the results click here.
Seniors : Greg Tagg leads by a whopping eight shots after a first round score of 72, clear of playing partner Glenn Bevis on 80. To view the results click here.

The August Monthly Medal was also played in conjunction with the Club Championships.
Winners: A Grade Jordan Daley with a superb nett score of 66 , B Grade Joshua MCClelland with a nett score of 67 and C Grade went to Tim Russell ocb with a score of 68 Nett.
