Dear Members, we trust that you are all OK. Following the Premier’s announcement this morning of the end of lock down at 4.00 pm today, we are delighted to advise that the Course & Club will re-open tomorrow am, subject to ongoing restrictions which will remain in place at least for the next 2 weeks.
These restrictions are consistent with the requirements we have operated under before, specifically:
- All members and guests must use the QR code to attend the club (club house and/or pro shop);
- Masks are mandatory indoors (including Pro Shop, Club house, bathrooms, breezeway etc.) and outdoors where social distancing is not possible;
- Members must be seated to eat or drink, mask can be removed when eating or drinking whilst seated;
- We are required to maintain the 1 person per 4 square meter restriction at all times indoors (not more than 4 people in the pro shop excluding staff at any time, not more than 50 people in bar area etc.) and 1 person per 2 meters outdoors, please do not congregate around pro shop entrance, putting green etc;
- Golf cart sharing will be permitted, it is strongly recommended that masks are worn if sharing a golf cart with someone other than from your household. A discounted cart hire rate of $25 applies for the next 2 weeks in the event a member would prefer not to share a cart;
- Pins to remain in place and not be removed when putting, rakes will be removed from bunkers (preferred lie), no NTP’s and players should not swap cards;
- Normal competitions will proceed this week including the final round of the Women’s Championship on Wednesday morning;
- Members are asked to please regularly check Queensland Health notified exposure sites and if you have been to a declared exposure site as listed, to follow instructions from Health authorities prior to attending the Club, and of course,
- Please do not attend the club if you are symptomatic or unwell;
We are sure we have not reached the final chapter in this book, but for now at least its good news that we are able to re-open.
