Dear Members,
Just a quick update today on Course conditions and a couple of other things. We received 13mls rain this am, and whilst there are a few wet spots still, everything should be good to go as normal tomorrow, although it is likely carts will be limited to rough areas of the course/s only. A final decision will be made on carts in the am, but at this time, highly likely carts will be OK to use but limited to the rough. It would be appreciated if members using carts could stay behind blue lines around green approaches and to avoid obvious wet areas to protect the course.
As it is a full field tomorrow with members on a wait list, if you have a booking and become aware you will be unable to play, please cancel through the Pro Shop asap which will enable a fellow VGC member to get a game.
We will continue to have covid golf related protocols in place, preferred lies in bunkers, pins remaining in the hole, no swapping of cards until at least the current Health directed restrictions are eased, hopefully next week.
Just a reminder to members for this week (and next week until restrictions are eased), masks are required to enter both the Club House bar and amenity areas and Pro Shop (there can be no exceptions unless a medical condition prevents the wearing of a mask), and all members must sign in using the QR Code at either Pro Shop and Club House, sorry, but that is the current applicable law. Whilst a detail issue, each check in only remains current for 2 hours so ideally check in both before your Golf at the Shop and after when entering the Club House.
