Dear Members,
As you will be aware, the Club’s 90th Annual General Meeting was held last night and attended by approximately 75 members. A key agenda item for this meeting is to advise members of the election of office bearers for the upcoming year.
It is very pleasing to report that along with the large number of members who put themselves forward as nominees to serve the club, we also received a strong voting response from members, with in excess of 300 votes cast for each contested position. Each contested position required the distribution of member voting preferences for elections to be determined.
Elected Director appointments for the 20/21 year are as follows:
President. Greg Seaborn, Vice President. Michael Pullinger, Captain. Ross Smith, Vice Captain. Darren Shepherd, Treasurer. Ian Sevens, Greens Director. Glen Masterson, Membership Director. Andrew Baker, Director of Ladies Golf. Narelle Fraser, Director. Ian Squires. Congratulations to all elected Directors.
The meeting also passed a Motion of Commendation and Appreciation for the efforts of outgoing President Ray Mawdsley, President for the past 4 years and also appreciation of the efforts of retiring Directors, Peter Thomas as Vice President, Alan Wright as Treasurer, Bill Lally as Membership Director, Gail Gablonski as Director of Ladies Golf and Brenton Knudsen as Director, all acknowledged by a round of applause from members at the meeting.
