Dear Members,
It is with regret that I advise members of the resignation of our Club Captain Greg Seaborn, effectively immediately.
On behalf of the Board, I sincerely thank Greg for his significant contribution to the Club as Captain, and the countless hours he has contributed towards the advancement of our Club. I know members have been most appreciative of Greg’s work as a volunteer Course Ranger on Saturdays but may not be so well aware of Greg’s other considerable volunteer work on the course and in his role as Match Committee Chair.
Greg will obviously continue as a valued VGC member and hopefully will now have some time for a little more golf.
In the interim period, Club Vice Captain Mick Pullinger will act as Captain and Chair of the Match committee.
