Thank you for continuing to work with the social distancing and other protocols in place and in supporting the Club in taking action or advising when you observe others not following the required protocols.
Just a couple of things in respect of competition play this weekend. Firstly and obviously, all regulatory protocols remain in place and members are asked to ensure we comply with these requirements and to help others as you can. VGC staff will be on hand to assist.
Secondly and importantly, as there currently is a wait list of members for tomorrow’s competition, if you are on the time sheet and are unable to play on either Saturday or Sunday, could you please notify to Golf Shop as soon as possible so another member can have a game.
We are also conscious that changes we made to mid week competition time sheets 2 weeks ago to open these times up to visitors and some social players has had some impact on members playing in these competitions. Going forward, we have sought to make mid week competition play open to members and a small number of visitors with social play concentrated in the afternoons. We hope members will experience less inconvenience over the next few weeks as a result of these changes although these changes may not be entirely evident next week due to bookings already made.
Lastly, on behalf of the Tuesday Seniors and Thursday clubs, members are advised that the both will not convene at least until the end of April. We will update further closer to this time.
