Dear Members,
We wish to advise that as a result of recent (very welcome ) rain, the course works underway on the 1st hole will be difficult to access. As a result, tomorrow (18/1 Oliver Sharp Memorial 4BBB) the 1st hole will be played as a par 3 with the tee positioned forward beyond the course work, approximately 150 meters from the 1st Green.
The stroke index for the hole will remain unchanged.
We are endeavoring to update score cards for tomorrow to ensure there is no handicap impact on members arising from the temporary change.
A decision in respect of the Sunday competition will be made after a further inspection of the work on the 1st fairway on Saturday afternoon.
