Dear Members, We reference our earlier communication in relation to the Public Health Direction in effect from today, 17th December where we advised that un-vaccinated members and guests would be unable to access the Club House & Terrace areas, but were able to play golf and access areas like the Pro Shop & breezeway, bathrooms, locker rooms etc.<\/p>\n
We now provide a further update announced this morning in relation to a mandated requirement to wear a face mask in all indoor areas of the club where vaccinated and un-vaccinated members might mix. <\/span> To clarify, we advise that masks must be worn entering the Golf Shop, Breezeway and Bathroom & Locker rooms etc. This mandate for the wearing of masks\u00a0 was announced by The Premier this morning and we have now received confirmation of this mandated requirement from the Queensland Government.<\/strong> Please note that the mandate to wear a mask does not apply to vaccinated members\/guests in the Clubhouse or terrace area (only), but will apply to all members in accessing the breezeway, bathrooms & Pro shop. <\/strong><\/p>\n This mandate takes effect tomorrow, Saturday, 18th December. The mandate also applies to our staff in these indoor areas.<\/strong><\/p>\n Unfortunately, this requirement is not discretionary and your ongoing support in meeting our obligations to these directions is appreciated.
