Honour Board Events - Members' Foursomes Championship |

The Members’ Foursomes Championship is another long-standing honour board event. It was first played in 1938 and has become one of the most anticipated and enjoyable events on the calendar.
It is contested over 36 holes of stroke play and the team with the lowest gross score is declared the Members’ Foursomes Champion.
Sommie Mackay won the title on 10 occasions with Jack Rayner and Dennis Long not far behind with 9 wins each.
The most successful team was that of Sommie Mackay and Dennis Long who together had 6 victories. The next best was Glen Cogill and David Jenkins who won 5 times between 1976 and 1983.
