After a terrific final round, Bob Watson has come from behind to win the 2011 Medal of Medals by a single shot from Barney Lindner. He becomes the only person in the Club's history to win this prestigious event on 3 occasions.
Watson finished with 72-70-142 to edge out Lindner who struggled during the windy second round. Rounding out the top 5 were Noel McLean, Paul Rys and Darryl Buhse. A list of final scores can be viewed by clicking here.

Single Competition In Conjunction With Four Balls |
|
The Match Committee is introducing a trial change to four ball competitions from 1 December 2011. Players will now have the option of paying an additional $2 fee to enter a single Stableford competition in conjunction. The single card will be used for handicapping purposes and there is an additional prize.
We often receive feedback from members about the "unattractiveness" of four ball competitions given they are not handicapped (unless a team has 42 Stableford points or better) and they tend to favour higher markers. This change will hopefully create an extra incentive for members to compete.
